Rob,
Loehmann’s in Chelsea or on the UWS (not so much for jeans etc but OK for slightly more formal stuff).
Macy’s always has some stuff on sale – very variable but some of it can be good.
I’m sure Target, Kmart, Kohl’s etc are fine for some stuff.
Old Navy not good quality but cheap.
Rob – I get you on the umbrella situation – however NY’ers don’t know how to use them properly.
Also what’s with all the dumb girls walking around today in flip flops and skirts
um hello it’s 62 and RAINING!!!!
ugh!
Today’s Word of the Day from Merriam-Webster is kibitzer:
Meaning: one who looks on and often offers unwanted advice or comment; broadly : one who offers opinions.

Quite possibly the weirdest thing I have read this week!
When you say “normal person clothes” do you mean “normal person work clothes” or “normal person casual clothes”?
Arkady and Randolph;
Bzzzzzz. Sorry, not correct. Believe me, when you read the name of this street, you will agree that it is the strangest you’ve ever heard.
