uniqlo. like the gap or old navy but japanese and better. on broadway and prince
i work on the same block as uniqlo. no thanks. i did however get a 50 dollar gift card there from my ex boyfriend a while back and i think i wound up just buying 50 dollars worth of socks. which was nice. nice socks. different colors and stuff. but i lose them fast.
uniqlo is kinda lame tho, i dont know. i want to stay away from stores like that, and especially H&M, TopShop, etc. i feel like those stores are for people who are adult propers who just try too hard but don’t have enough money to afford the really coold stuff (no offense to shoppers from there).
i want to blend in and be unnoticed in what i wear. but i want clean clothes and to be presentable. lol i cant believe im saying this
I have a very sexist rant regarding umbrellas….Most women should not be allowed to use umbrellas. they are mechanical devices and, as such, are foreign to women’s cognitive powers. They don’t know how to raise them when walking by people, typically keep them so low that their heads are buried and they always knock into people. Also, the open and close them inappropriately without looking out for others. It’s my biggest sexist rant along with women who don’t open their handbags and start the process of digging out their purses to pay at the checkout line until they are told what the final amount is. ARRRGGGGHHHHH
Re: your exchange with snappy about lawyer start times, litigators are notorious for a late start to the day. They hate 9:30 court conferences and tend to show up late at the office. Not like you folks in the securities world. In my early days, I did some securities litigation at a big firm — we could never find a good time to meet with the traders who worked for our clients. They were always going home right when we were finally figuring out what we wanted to ask them about. They kept asking why we couldn’t meet them before 6am. We kept asking why they wouldn’t meet with us at 4:30 pm. We also had to dress casual, because if we walked onto the trading floor in our suits, they would think we were from the SEC and freak out (not that they had any reason to, of course).

Bzzzzz. Sorry, wrong answer. Hmmm, not many guesses this week. Rob’s clothing question has usurped my trivia quiz.
Any more guesses?

Sorry, Benson. I was in such a dash to answer I didn’t even see that you’d mentioned Conduit in the question. My new guess is Marginal.
DIBS,
