Young Caine: You cannot see.
Master Po: You think I cannot see?
Young Caine: Of all things, to live in darkness must be worst.
Master Po: Fear is the only darkness.

Caine: Is it good to seek the past, Master Po? Does it not rob the present?
Master Po: If a man dwells on the past, then he robs the present. But if a man ignores the past, he may rob the future. The seeds of our destiny are nurtured by the roots of our past.

Caine: I seek not to know the answers, but to understand the questions.
slopefarm, I didn’t mean to not give Kung Fu it’s props. I absolutely loved that show as a child. I was completely riveted to the show when it was on. I even posted a quote on here not that long ago from the series:
Master Po: [after easily defeating the boy in combat] Ha, ha, never assume because a man has no eyes he cannot see. Close your eyes. What do you hear?
Young Caine: I hear the water, I hear the birds.
Master Po: Do you hear your own heartbeat?
Young Caine: No.
Master Po: Do you hear the grasshopper that is at your feet?
Young Caine: [looking down and seeing the insect] Old man, how is it that you hear these things?
Master Po: Young man, how is it that you do not?
Biff, are all these koans meant to honor David Carradine? I might have missed it, but no one really paid tribute to Kung Fu on the OT yesterday (lots of talk of suicides and 80s bands). I bet we could get some agreement from DIBS and what on that one. Can anyone in the 40-50 age range who has ever meditated say they were free from that show’s influence?

“If man evolved from monkeys and apes, why do we still have monkeys and apes?

Because they used to be the fish.
“I need to call my policeman friend over there and get the straight poop.

If he’s a friend of yours, is his poop going to be straight?
This clip Perfectly explains evolution vs. creation (and it’s Fall over Funny).

The Rifleman.
As a young child I was IN LOVE with Johnny Crawford who played the Rifleman’s son…

Benson – You’re approaching it the wrong way. Moose evolved so Native Americans could feed & clothe themselves.

Lost In Space
