and don’t even go there and say the only reason i got straight A’s in school was cuz i went to a ghetto high school and a state college. (tho sometimes i think that could be the reason too) but i’d rather not think that the case.
I got straight A’s in high school and college but my SAT scores were curiously low. and don’t even get me started about my terrible GRE scores! i did have an excuse for the poor GRE scores tho. the damn exam was given THE SATURDAY MORNING AFTER HALLOWEEN! who the hell is ready to take the GRE’s at like 7 am the morning after halloween. (lol tho that i went into the classroom to take it with my halloween makeup still on ahahahh). after i finished i was like ugh forget about grad school, it’s probably not even worth it. im actually very glad i didnt go.
DIBS, no equity investmts right now (except small position in 401k). I’m ultimate chicken little – ie would love to sell current residence & rent but wife veto’d me.
BRG…that reminds me of a story. Many years ago I met two Japanese guys in a bar. I asked them what they were doing here and they said they were studying English.
