  1. DH, I didn’t realize this, but one review of Rope states “A small scrawl on the bathroom wall reads, “I hate hipsters.”” Did you leave that little ironic piece of graffiti?

Here is the French Morrocan place. As you can see, it’s very nice from the pictures and the outside is sweet, but if it rains, we’ll have no room at all inside.

  2. Rope is on Myrtle and Clinton – nothing too special. Just a nice local bar with a huge outdoor space, and ample space inside if the weather isn’t good. Full bar, good beer selection and wasn’t crowded on a Saturday night, so during the week we’d probably have the place to ourselves.

  3. Snappy, they don’t appear to have their own website, but here is a link to their address and a map. It’s technically in Fort Greene but I believe it’s very close to Clinton Hill (DeLepp can confirm; he showed he knows the area very well).

Oh, I just saw they have a “Trivia Smackdown the first Tuesday of every month”. THL, where are you??

  4. Haha Biff – you took some copious notes!

Nice meeting you DeLepp, and thanks for showing us around your hood.

Rope was definitely the all around winner. The other spots were nice, but too small and noisy (and expensive!! 10 dollars for a makers mark?!?! I’m looking at you Speakeasy!)
