People pay an insane premium to live on Bedford (not sure why) The apartments look nice and renovated – and probably fetched 2700 2 years ago.
There is a failed condo building that just opened up a block away on Berry – and 2700 gets you a 1000+ sq ft 2 bedroom loft – so I can’t see a 700 sqft 1 bedroom getting the same.
Commonwealth is at 5th Ave & 12th. A bit noisy and small. Better venues further south on 5th.
Biff…I’ve had some of those nuts in Japan at the Yakitori restaurants. They’re actually quite good roasted.

Thanks again, Arkady. I’ve made a note of the locations for future reference. It might be awhile before we get back to Park Slope for a gathering, but that gives us a great start.
DIBS, I think the rule should be that the verification is done by a person who lives in the same neighbourhood as the unverified poster.

Biff, I did a count and 35 would be fine for the bar area. There about 6 tables and 12 barstools, plus wriggle room not including the back room. It’s not as large as Floyds but could accomodate the people I think. Plus the onion rings are terrific.
