Montrose, my pleasure re: organizing. As usual, we never seem to get enough time to talk, but that’s the nature of having 20 to 35 people around and trying to talk to them all within a couple of hours. Nevertheless, it’s great fun.
I completely agree with you regarding the venue. That’s why I’ve been trying to reach out to Clinton Hillers and others to make sure the next venue is as comfortable as possible for everyone. It’s difficult to find the one perfect place that is large enough, not too loud, has outdoor space, etc. I think I might go on a field trip to Clinton Hill soon to check out in person the Brooklyn Public House and a couple other places to ensure we find the best place to meet next time.
As for the video: what an amazing, talented group of singers, eh? Remarkable, spine tingling voices.
That was a great evening, I loved seeing everyone!
BRG, I’m sorry I doubted you! And that I bailed and went home at the pathetic loser hour of 10:30! FAIL! And I never tried your ginger chocolates – so much to do, so little time!
Snappy, the hair held up! : ) [I still owe you a drink!]
jessi and six win the cutest couple ever award!
Not hungover, but very very tired. I was out two nights in a row this week – good lord! It may take me all weekend to recover! I was very tipsy after 3 glasses of wine. eek!
Good morning asshats! I had soooo much fun last night. I still can’t believe I actually went! A huge thank you to BRG and Kens for their chauffeuring services! You all are an even bigger hoot in person 🙂 Today, I’ll be washing and blowing out my hair trying to undo last night’s rain, humidity and Rob’s styling efforts!
Great to see everyone again & meet some new folks! No hangover here (unlike last time…).
BRG, this is the sculpture place that slopefarm recommended http://www.stormking.org. I admire your discipline in keeping the pumps on for as long as you did.
Benson, this is the website I thought you would enjoy, not least because he blogs about gadgets and science as well as politics: http://www.instapundit.com
Hopefully I won’t be wearing a suit at the June one!
slopefarm,
you missed DIBS’ italian boots and “What’s Bitch” tattoo.
Am i the only one with a hangover?
Nice meeting everyone! Kudos to Biff for organizing and kudos to Floyd for having the best selection of canned beer I’ve ever seen!

m4l wasn’t there, sadly. One is only left to wonder.
Wow Dibs, is m4l hot. I should have gone to this thing. DANG work!
Don’t worry, I haven’t started to dye my grays yet so it’s only a matter of time.
