    We’re on the same wavelength today. Must be our age. To me, summertime in Brooklyn used to mean adults washing their car and kids playing ball. Sadly, both activities have declined.

    Tying it up with BRG’s problem, I can remember numerous times (as I’m sure you do) when a guy would finish spiffying up his car, and then watch his antenna get whacked off by a football thrown in the wrong direction. Note for you young-ems: car antennas were once not retractable.
