I really like French bistros plus the food at Artisanal was better, so I would take it in a heartbeat over Swizz, which is a very average looking place inside (although they have a cool bar downstairs by the cave).
does blue ribbon in park slope have fondue? i know i went to a blue ribbon in manhattan once and it was on the menu – but wasn’t sure if it was the sushi or bistro BR.
Kens, I’ve been to Artisanal Fromagerie & Bistro and Swizz Restaurant & Wine Bar, which are both decent. A colleague told me about The Bourgeois Pig and loves it, but I haven’t been there yet. Not sure of any in Brooklyn.
Thanks guys. I know of Artisanal, will have to check it out.
Munchos? You may as well stick your face in a box of Morton’s!
Notes from my lunchtime walk:
–saw an acquaintance who said he is moving to Minneapolis for an internship in the summer
–learned 7-11 no longer sells Munchos. I want my salty crisps! Got kettle chips instead.
–saw a woman crying and talking into her bluetooth earpiece, which she held up so close to her face it was inside her mouth
Wow, I am slow on the button pushing! Sorry!
“Question, where is the best cheese fondue in the city?”
Artisanal: http://www.artisanalbistro.com/
The little cheese puffs/gougeres are addictive. Very yummy food.
