Dumbo
Pinkberry is moving into the 1,000-square-foot space at 117 Front Street, pictured above. DumboNYC posted the press release from Two Trees: “Opening this October, Pinkberry will be DUMBO’s first frozen yogurt shop, adding to the neighborhood’s growing track record of being a top-tier destination for business.”

Gowanus
The much-talked about shuffleboard club Royal Palms has reached a setback. Brooklyn Based reports that neighborhood residents spoke out against the potential noise and crowds at a recent Community Board Six meeting. The owners of Royal Palms pulled the application to do more community outreach; they will likely return to the board in September.

Williamsburg
Eater reports that Bedford Avenue Turkish restaurant Saksuka closed up shop. Ride Brooklyn, currently open at 468 Bergen Street, is expanding to the corner of Kent and North 7th. The opening is planned for September. A burger joint/comic book hang called Action Burger will open mid-September on Graham Avenue. Eater reports exciting news that Burg restaurant Traif will open a spinoff somewhere in the neighborhood, expected to open sometime in late September. And up in Greenpoint, popular ice cream vendor Van Leeuwen plans to open a small cafe at the production facility.

Elsewhere
The very troubled Red Hook warehouse now housing the strip club Paris Cabaret will be replaced by a burlesque club, reports Brooklyn Paper. At 46 Henry Street in Brooklyn Heights, Baluchi’s is now called Asya. Asya has kept a very similar menu to its predecessor.
