Prospect Heights
Awesome news! Grub Street reports that al di la spinoff Bar Corvo is expanding in the neighborhood. The owners have not yet revealed the concept, but it will open at 409 Lincoln Place (at Washington Avenue) this fall. And Prospect Heights Patch reports that Back 9 Grill, the golf themed bar on Vanderbilt Avenue, opened shop. It’s in the old Eton spot.

Park Slope
Eater reports that Dale Talde’s highly anticipated Pork Slope opens up August 18th. Here’s Park Slope notes an upcoming wine and pizza bar on 7th Avenue between Garfield and Carroll Street. “Fine dining and an elegant lounge” is under construction at the former Park Slope Restaurant space on 5th Avenue. The Five Guys on 7th Avenue was shuttered by the DOH, shoe boutique Soula is now closed, bubble tea and banh mi are coming to Lincoln Place, and Belleville‘s been put on deathwatch.

Elsewhere
Out of the Closet Thrift Store opened at 475 Atlantic Avenue, in Boerum Hill. DNA Info reports that proceeds from the store benefit AIDS prevention and advocacy programs and services. New York Shitty wonders if the Production Lounge, an event space in Greenpoint, is no more. Clinton Hill‘s Mike’s Coffee Shop was shut down by the DOH. It’s rumored that Andy Ricker wants to open a Pok Pok bar on the Columbia Street Waterfront. Ditmas Park‘s Cortelyou Road will get an Italian restaurant, run by the same folks who operate Pepe Rosso in the city. reBarnacle, A new restaurant attached to Dumbo’s reBar, opened this week. This replaces the movie theater previously there. And a reader tells us there’s paper up on the windows of Luke’s Fusion Wine Bar, on the corner of Cumberland and Lafayette in Fort Greene.
