The Myrtle Avenue Revitalization Project just received a $210,000 grant over the next three years to expand their Food Access Initiative. The list of projects implemented look great: a community-run farm stand, the creation and expansion of community gardens in public housing, a community chef program, and the foundation of a hyper-local food policy task force. The goal is to improve the access of better food for the residents of both Clinton Hill and Fort Greene. The farm stand will be outside of the Ingersoll Community Center, at 177 Myrtle Ave, every Thursday starting July 8 and will be worked by youth and elders from the neighborhood. GMAP

  1. Love this group and the lady that runs the garden in Ingersoll is super nice. Wish them the best. Hope they expand further towards the park and don’t just concentrate near Flatbush.
