As we mentioned yesterday in our Food and Drink Roundup, Moutarde just re-opened, looking new and improved, and showing off a (kind of) new name: Moutarde, Le Bistro de la Rue. They will be cooking simple and affordable French dishes with a creative bar menu. It looked pretty nice to us, with a large stock of baguettes in the windows. Early predictions?

  1. Moutarde is disgusting: whether they fix their awning or not, you can sweeten sh*t with sugar, but it will still taste the same.

I assume since the owners did not change that it’s going to be the same old…stuff. I’m not here to debate whether their food is good or bad – I’m just stating what I’ve personally experienced. So if you disagree – please direct your comments to the nearest brick wall.

they all seem to do well tho. besides, those ridiculous pretentious restaurant concepts that are found in other neighborhoods usually close up shop after a month or two. i live right here, but im not much of a restaurant person so i guess i cant really say if the restaurants in this are are truly good or not.
