Longtime Thai Restaurant in the Slope Shutters
T Thai, the second-floor restaurant on the corner of 7th Avenue and Carroll Street, closed down last week, and signs have gone up announcing that the space is for rent. In its window display, the Thai joint boasted of being in business since 1980. GMAP

Yup, broker and you’re forgetting:
Tacos Nuevo Mexico! (So good!)
But I still frequent the places I mentioned on 7th more than those on 5th (except Al Di La) which I go to often.
Blue Ribbon
Blue Ribbon Sushi
Stone Park
‘sNICE
La Bogota
Nana
Alchemy
Osteria
Bonnie’s Grill
Al Di La
Brooklyn Fish Camp
Press
Los Pollitos
Pizzatown
Miriam
Chocolate Room
5th Ave…
am i the only one who things restaurants are just silly?
*rob*
But THE BEST Thai in Park Slope is Song (on 5th) imho.
I agree that 5th has been better than 7th, but recently I have to say that 7th is getting tons better and my more favorite places are, in fact on 7th…
Olive Vine
Beer Table
Mango
Chiles and Chocolate
Fonda
La Taqueria
Roma Pizza
Oshima (best sushi besides Blue Ribbon in PS)
All on 7th…
Do you remember Circles where Two Boots is now?
I remember Le Parc Gourmet. Long time ago…
The competition was too tough for this place; Rice, further south on 7th Avenue is a much better Thai restaurant IMO.
Does anyone, besides me, remember when this space had Le Parc Gourmet, one of the first upscale restaurants on 7th Ave. {Or, at least would-be upscale, because it wasn’t so hot).
Agree with Santa, 5th Avenue is the place for a good restuarant in Park Slope last couple of years.
