Little Branch Alums Plan Jazz Bar for Bedford and Halsey in Bed Stuy

A bar with artisanal cocktails and nightly jazz is planned for the boarded up retail space at 1223 Bedford Avenue. Three partners who previously worked at Little Branch and Silver Lining in Manhattan said they hope to open late this summer or in the fall. There will also be food but the menu has not yet been decided, one of them told us.

Employees will have the opportunity to become owners, as at Silver Lining and Little Branch. It was our understanding the new bar will also be called Silver Lining, though DNAinfo, which was the first to write about it, said the name has not yet been revealed.
