The mad egg-tosser who lives in the Novo has once again lashed out at the dog run underneath the 4th Avenue condo. A few nights ago, a woman says she brought her dog to the run so he could do his evening business and someone chucked an egg down at her from the condo. On the one hand: As in the incident four weeks ago, the dog and owner were in the run in the evening, when it’s supposed to be closed. On the other: The woman says her dog wasn’t making noise, and that she’s been taking him to the run at night since it opened more than a year ago. Questions abound among the run’s users. Is the egger perhaps a teenager, or just a crazy person? Do most of the Novo’s residents feel enmity towards the dog run? When will peace be restored in the Slope???

  1. For the record, I’m an animal lover. But when the dog run says “Closed” that means “Closed.”

Self entitled assholes need to learn to obey the rules and act like civilized people.

  2. What I want to know is how is she able to pick up her very well behaved pooch’s shit in the dark. She must be psychic or has a keen sense of smell. Did her dog enjoy lapping off the splattered eat treat?

  3. brooklynhome, i totally agree with that point, really. if it’s supposed to be closed, then yeah, it should be closed. obviously it’s closed for a reason. it’s just funny to see how pet owners and baby owners all act like a bunch of big cry baby whiners in this city.

    *rob*

  4. Here’s the rub, eh toss. If the dog run is supposed be closed at night, then it should be closed at night. In other words, dog owneres don’t use the run at night. Novo dwellers work with your community board to make sure that the run’s closing is enforced.
