Although the RFP for a restaurant operator at Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 6 was issued in November, Curbed has just dug up some fresh renderings of what the site could end up looking like. You can click here for the full RFP which outlines details of the 12-year lease, the build-out, operations, and maintenance of the facility. The deadline for proposals: January 25th. Knowing that the RFP calls for “ethnically diverse and/or healthy food” and allows for “respectful” alcohol consumption, what do you think would work here?

  1. *rob*, sorry to disappoint, but, being Brooklyn Heights, I’m pretty sure those are Polo fields. Personally, I’m psyched because now I only have to walk 2 blocks to play polo.

  2. “ethnically diverse and/or healthy food”

Yeah, that’ll work. Lets try and please everyone in Brooklyn with one restaurant!!!!
