“Renters have no place on this blog.”
Then get off. You’re renting from the bank and/or the government.
I love renters…they pay 3/4 of my mortgage. That’s an idiotic statement.
I’m confused — where on the PLG listing does it say they’re renting out rooms? And wouldn’t that violate the property’s zoning (unless it’s zoned for an SRO)?
What’s that? The patio is a nice play to have a drink and get caught in a drive-by?
hey, troll at 10:54, it would be good to remember that over 2/3 of New Yorkers are renters. I think it’s a good feature, and Mr. B should do it more often. What do you think, renters just exist to defray mortgages? I love my brownstone as much as an owner would (perhaps more, in fact, because I live in it!)
Doing the rooming house thing can attract less desireable tenants. You get more transient people when renting out rooms, who are less invested in being a good tenant so they can stay long term.
how about some up-market picks. For less than the monthly nut on a mortgage on a boring 2br floor-thru, you can rent some pretty fab places. Lets see them.
yes the little area next to the stoop is called the “patio”. I thought that was rather amusing. This place in PLG seems to be getting desperate. It was first 2K a month, then 1800 a month and now they are willing to rent out each room.
