Kens, thanks for ruining my dastardly plan!
Biff we just had the same though. I say Rob will be 11217 and M4L will be fsrg. That should be fun.
I always go.
Biff, i will go if DIBS, 11217, and fsrg all show up.

dandel, how will you really know? DIBS will be there and other 2 PLUSAs could claim to be 11217 and fsrg.
What is wrong with painters and the landlords who hire them that makes them think putting a new thick coat of paint over EVERYTHING in an apt. is a reasonable thing to do?
I mean, at some point, don’t they take a step back and say, “hmmmm, this cabinet has 6 layers of paint on it already, maybe we should just give it a good cleaning rather than adding a 7th” or possibly even consider stripping it….
Cabinets painted shut so badly that in order to open them you have to break off chunks of paint, doors so caked up with layers of paint that they stick and I’m just going to have to sand some of the paint off, phone jacks painted over so gloopily that I can plug a phone in, electrical outlets painted over.
Sheesh.
I hate moving.
I love riding the bus, but to take the bus *to a train* is beyond ridic. And I don’t drive 🙁
dandel, you got it.
*psst, okay PLUSAs, we know DIBS is going for sure – who is volunteering to impersonate 11217 and fsrg?*
snappy, you’re just curious or doing some serious research for buying decision in a yr or 2?
Oy! All the way down there? That’s so damned far. Sigh. It takes about a week of mental preparation just for me to go to Kings Plaza Mall. I don’t think I’d survive living down there. Transportation is an epic fail down there. No wonder it’s so darned cheap.
That’s why I live here in WT! It’s a neighborhood that was basically built for city workers who drive to work. The Ave U Q or Kings Highway B and Q are the closest stations. It’s about an hour to Midtown door-to-door. You could always petition the MTA to extend the 2 and the 5 past the junction, otherwise the bus to the train it is…
