  1. The Kimchi Taco Truck place on Washington is well underway – I walk by and see lots of evidence of move-in happening regularly. Their storefront is well-positioned by Washington Commons and the sports bar Half Court — it’ll be great to sit out in the backyard at Washington Commons with some decent food this summer!

  2. Is is not Spumoni Gardens coming to 7th ave and 19th street it is a Giant Beer garden that will overlook Greenwood Cemetery with a live music stage. I don’t think Greenwood or the nearby schools will be too happy but who knows.

  3. Heights Cafe is out of business. There will be a caribbean restaurant opening in its place. As for prospect hgts…there are 3 restaurants opening on washington tween prospect and st marks. two caribbean, one which is looking like a sit down and dine with a bar, the other more like takeout with a few tables and then they are working on the old fried chicken takeout on the corner. they changed the doors already but i think that was rumored to be a new bagel spot.washington is becoming like vanderbilt.

  4. “I wish we could get something similar to Fette Sau in Park Slope. That’s honestly about the only thing I feel like we’re missing food-wise.”

can storefronts in the slope accommodate a smoker like the one FS has?

guessing it would need to be in gowanus.
