A reader pointed out that Cobble Hill’s Rod and Gun Club, previously sans stoop, has got a new one. The stairs on either side, along with the built up brick is fairly uncommon for the area. Do you like it?

  1. Minard….sticky keys? You mean when you type on Brownstoner??

Cause that was happening to me the other day on my computer at home and I thought my computer was about to die. Almost took it into apple to have them check it…

    You mean it’s a brownstoner.com issue?

  2. it isn’t finished yet, so one cannot be certain.
but so far I like it, it looks like it was designed with care.
The solid parapets provide good defenses in case they have to protect the building from Gen. Santa Anna’s army.

the sticky keys are driving me crazy….what is going on?

  3. 11217, I agree, regarding the design and quality of the stoop. However, regarding the color of the brick, if you look at the tree in the picture you can see quite a bit of glare from the sun, which is possibly making the brick on the front of the stoop look lighter than it actually is. If you look at the samll patch of brick on the lower right side of the stoop (in the shade) it looks like they did at least try to match the color of the building.
