can any of you idiots figure out why someone would hitch a bike up to a gate,I guess you still have not figured it out…times almost up.
I agree with 5:52. The owner is probably racist anyway
7:10: How the hell do you know the politics of the person who wrote this note? I am so sick of people here assuming other people are “liberal” or “nimbys” or “hipsters” etc. etc. etc. (Or ugly.) Face it, you do not know these things for sure and you are just using every discussion as an opportunity to express hatred of your own personal choice of scapegoat. Signed, a ten-foot-tall puppy with socialist tendencies.

I agree completely, 7:16, not only should it not be considered a problem, it should be considered a sign of a healthy environment, somewhere I’d actually WANT to live.
ridiculous.
If the bike owner lives next door or something, ok… i understand, go and have a POLITE discussion with the person. But wtf? have you ever ridden a bike anywhere besides the park or your house?
I cant count how many times ive had no choice but to lock my bike somewhere i may not have even wanted to… hell ive even lost a bike or two from theft (broad daylight-under an hour)… shit happens.
But you can count owning a bike at all as pointless if you think its reasonable a person should only lock their bike to a bike rack or take it home.
As a point, a bike locked (respectfully) to a city pole or tree/box for less than a day should not be harassed… or considered a problem… for fucks sake get a clue.
Small town people would not be making these comments and would be quite considerate to the bike owner. Actually would not need the lock. More like liberal hypocrasy.
