Closing Bell: New Rides Coming to Coney

The blog Amusing the Zillion attended a conference last week that looked at “What’s Next for Coney Island?” We’ve been covering all the demolition happening recently, but it was revealed that four new rides will open at Luna Park’s new Scream Zone in Spring 2011. As the blog explains: “Two of the rides are Zamperla coasters: a Steeplechase Cavalry-themed MotoCoaster and an American Eagle-themed Volare flying coaster.” As far as we can tell, the MotoCoaster uses a train of horses and The Volare tries to simulate flying. Pretty fancy stuff!
