Last week Brownstoner commenters met up for a holiday party, including a gift exchange and gift donation. By the time the night was through, there was a sizable donation of children’s gifts for the Red Hook Community Center. Snappy was kind enough to send over this picture and pass along the word that Luvenia Suber, the contact person at RHCC, “wanted to thank everyone for their generosity and thinking of the neighborhood kids this year.”

Of course we did have to remove price tags from some of the gifts!

Thanks to everyone who donated a gift! As you can see, we had a HUGE stash of presents to take over there…HOORAY! If any of you want to donate to the RHCC’s toy drive, please give Ms. Suber a call and schedule a time to drop off a gift. Thanks again, you generous lovelies 🙂
