Closing Bell: Country Living Hits Brooklyn

To make navigating this supersized Mayberry manageable, we planned day trips around three of our favorite areas — Greenpoint and Williamsburg; Atlantic Avenue, Carroll Gardens, and Red Hook; and Prospect Park and Park Slope (highlighted on map) — then homed in on the best spots to shop, eat, and explore.” Brooklyn as a “supersized Mayberry”? OK.

Hello, black kettle.
NUNU chocolate is THE BEST!
Went to Diner this past weekend and I thought it was very very average. Not giving them any more of my money…
My favorite brunch place these days is James in Prospect Heights…amazing EVERY SINGLE TIME.
“So true, DH–Mast Bros chocolate is bad and ridiculously expensive. The only thing good about it is the pretty paper wrappers.”
lmao – yeah. it seriously tastes like dirt. the dark chocolate/serrano pepper one was seriously one of the most unappetizing things i’ve ever put in my mouth!
“And Diner? Truly the lazy requisite listing on any BK list, despite the fact that’s been going downhill for quite awhile.”
i stopped going for a good 6 months because of the downright nasty service and meh food. went back a few times recently (brunch) and it was good again, and they have some new servers that don’t make me wanna cry.
marlow has fallen off tho.
Brooklynites (born and bred) are much more acceptable to change, most of the haters I imagine are not true Brooklynites, just chill and enjoy life. Thank you for the infusion of money, but, I’ll still sit in my airyway (oh, excuse me, my garden) and watch the world go round.
tinarina, I disagree about Diner. A bunch of us here had a great brunch there only a few weeks ago.
proud jersey pie face!!!
*rob*

And Diner? Truly the lazy requisite listing on any BK list, despite the fact that’s been going downhill for quite awhile.
Right, it’s someone else’s issue, nothing to do with yourself.
Whatever, ugly Jersey pieface. Oh sorry, thats F’UGLY Jersey pieface.
