To make navigating this supersized Mayberry manageable, we planned day trips around three of our favorite areas — Greenpoint and Williamsburg; Atlantic Avenue, Carroll Gardens, and Red Hook; and Prospect Park and Park Slope (highlighted on map) — then homed in on the best spots to shop, eat, and explore.” Brooklyn as a “supersized Mayberry”? this is what happens when we leave our borders open to moonfaces :-/ seriously, there NEEDS to be a cap on immigration here from the midwest. why does this never come up? why is always mexicans who people complain about? they aren’t the ones destroying neighborhoods and making them as bland as apple pie (as the article insinuates)
What’s with these hipsters and their beards? Enough already! It’s not a good look!
And yeah, go back to your rural life if that’s what you want. Leave the city to those of us who appreciate an urban environment.
Hork!
hah – they have a link to a yelp map to see everything on the list.
first thing i thought when reading the list was “they totally just searched yelp for the most popular places in gentrified brooklyn neighborhoods”
Ridic.
Calling 11217! Your favorite antique store made the map.
Country Living?????? What a load of crap.
Atlantic Avenue?????
I guess they’ve never actually been to either Brooklyn or Mayberry.
not a very impressive list.
