  1. My son gets a weekly dose of yoga at his pre-school, and amazingly, seems to like it. Still, I’d prefer it if he were running around just being a kid and it’s certainly not something I’d shell out for in addition to what he’s getting at school once every few weeks. A kid who loves yoga probably also thinks tofu tastes better than chocolate cake. In other words, completely against the laws of nature.

  2. happen to have kid and friend in the room, so i asked them if they liked yoga which they have done in school and in class with parent, and both said yes. so? i guess they do like it. kids like to learn and move and play. it’s not all one or the other.

  3. ugh, was just talking about this w/wife while walking past bend and bloom in the slope which has these kids classes. this is pathetic parents forcing their own weirdness on their kids. you know what kids like? running on grass and playing in dirt and spending loud fun time with parents, not quiet introspection. little jenny is gonna resent her childhood and be downward doggystyling on a porn shoot someday.

  4. Classes for babies and toddlers promote contact/bonding with parents and other kids in the class. Looks like many of the commenters here were lacking in that department while growing up.
