Ready to unveil your quirky collection to an admiring public? City Reliquary, Williamsburg’s unconventional museum and civic organization, is hosting their 14th Annual Collector’s Night, a chance for people passionate about objects to share the story of their obsession.
A featured presenter for the evening will be Laetitia Barbier of the Morbid Anatomy Museum showcasing her personal collection of guillotine models. Others with collections from large to small, obscure to mundane, will have an opportunity to participate in a quick show and tell. If you’re interested in being one of the presenters you can find the application form here.
The event takes place on Saturday, September 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel at 275 North 8th Street. Tickets are $20, with discounts for City Reliquary members and presenting collectors. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit their event page here.
