Spend a summer afternoon gazing upon waterfront views and hearing colorful tales of the past.
Join tour guide Joe Svehlak and the Municipal Art Society in August for “A Seaside Stroll” through Coney Island and Brighton Beach. The two hour walk will feature stories of attractions new and old, including classic rides like the Wonder Wheel, Parachute Jump and Cyclone. The trip ends in Brighton Beach with a wander amidst the shops and restaurants that make up “Little Odessa.”
The tour takes place on Sunday, August 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tour tickets are $30 for non-members of MAS, and $20 for members. For more info or to register, visit the tour page here.
