Sad replacement, but I guess better than it sitting vacant.
As chains go, Chipotles is pretty good.
Probably a different clientele, PinkClamm. I think this place would be competing vs Five Guys and Subway for shoppers and hospital folks looking to grab a quick lunch.
The Mexican on the north side of 3rd is a sit down place.
I seeing a redundancy here. Isn’t there a Mexican place across 3rd street from this place already? Mexican is my favorite food, but variety is the spice of life people.
If it was a Moe’s I’d be excited.
And a Chipotles opening there is a “good thing”? (Because the only “newsworthy” aspect of this story is why/whether nothing besides a fast food chain is interested in this space. And more broadly speaking, “WTF is wrong with 7th Ave/PS?”)
Sad that it’s a chain, but for a chain, it’s very impressive. Maybe it will be less fast foody than normal? I’m surprised given that most of their outlets are much larger… not sure if the business model scales down well, but, I guess they know better.
Chipotle Mexican Grill is actually the name. Formerly owned by McDonald’s, but no longer.
I hope not, but I guess Chipotle is a lot better than many of the other chain options.
