A few days ago The Local broke some exciting news that the sous chef from Buttermilk Channel, a popular brunch spot in Carroll Gardens, is opening a restaurant in Clinton Hill at 919 Fulton Street. It’ll be called 919 Soule and will serve “local and seasonal fare modeled on the successful comfort food of Buttermilk Channel.” More fried chicken, we hope! The owner has promised dishes like seared duck breast with fiddlehead ferns, and hangar steak with creamed spinach and veal demi-glace. 919 Soule is on track to open May 1st.
