not gonna promote his thing for him. maybe he’s embarrassed because he’s not promoting it on his site either.
Just curious…
Does it matter? He would only have a 1 in 10,000 chance of succeeding.
Brownstoner’s going to become a real estate broker?
A broker isn’t necessarily going to make everybody happy all the time. That’s part of the job. For every one person who buys a house there are how many other people who have seen it that wanted to buy it but couldn’t afford it, or who didn’t want to buy it and felt that the price the listing agent was asking was wrong….and yet it sold, to that one buyer. And is the buyer happy throughout the transaction. Maybe. That’s because it’s a stressful transaction. And the broker is doing their best to make it go smoothly, but sometimes things take on lives of their own (lawyers are antagonistic to one another, sellers are stressed about move-out dates, etc.) Plus it’s an awful lot of money and a big comittment they are grappling with. So no matter what you do as a real estate agent you probably won’t be winning any popularity contests. That’s why this is a ridiculous topic. And that’s why brownstoner is just nuts when he thinks that it’s appropriate to do his new website. He is misinformed about what it takes to do a real estate transaction. How many has he been a part of? One? Two?? How many have real estate professionals dealt with? Varies I’m sure on experience. But many of us have done hundreds of transactions and understand that there are many shades of gray.
Actually, ItsAWrap, ISTB is saying that for every realtor worth something, there are nine THOUSAND, nine hundred and ninety-nine which are useless and wash out.
