  1. It was about as irritating as 11217 pointing out that crime is lower in other countries. NYC has about the lowest crime rate of any major city in the U.S.

  2. Dave,

    Wait for it………..

I also was commenting (not attacking) on BooklynGreene’s post where she mentions that:

“The economic problems have been impacting many communities of color for much longer and causing hardships, stresses and trauma.”

  3. Well…some people after learning about a multiple shooting within our midst (and a murder) don’t really find it an appropriate time to be making jokes.

  4. I don’t think any of the stories has yet mentioned what color the shooter was FGCHill. And people think my “Love It or Leave It joke was irritating!!!!????

  5. This is truly terrible, but I do not buy into the economy causing persons of color to commit crimes like this. Thousands of Wall Streeters and bank personnel have lost their jobs and are struggling with the possibility of losing their homes, but they haven’t started shooting and robbing people. It is a cheap excuse to think that shooting five people has been influenced by the weak dollar.
