  1. bobjohn – Yeah, I have low blood pressure & excellent cholesterol readings.
rob – I’ve gained maybe 8 lbs since I stopped – that’s not an excuse. CDC says the average is 15 lbs from changes in metabolism but that you should drop that after your system settles in.

  2. My cousin was just treated for throat cancer. His mother died from lung cancer. He still smokes. His wife smokes.

It kills me. It embarrasses them. It has to. But they have some kind of problem. They can’t seem to stop.

    Smokers shouldn’t be subsidized either.

we arent. what we pay in taxes overall far outweighs the medical costs at the end of your life. so the whole smokers shouldnt get healthcare is moot.

DCB, I gained over 50 lbs. since I stopped smoking. Should I start again?

oh kill me now. i was thinking about (really thinking about it) quitting on new years. the extra money would be really REALLY good. if i gained 50 pounds i’d be in the biggest loser territory. ugh! maybe i should just start smoking crack, people already think im a crack head anyway. it’s cheaper than f’ing cigarettes anyway.

  5. I am paying my ex-wife’s cobra, from my plan. It’s approx $500/month. Two more months and I am done with that BS.

“so by the time we stop subsidizing all the bad habits of others (eating, drinking, smoking, and fucking) there will be no one left pure enuf to do the subsidizing. ”

What is wrong with fucking? I am sure others have the same question.

BSM, nothing bad should ever happen to anyone. There. Problem solved.
