Radio 88 says most of Manhattan is yet to be cleared.
rob – I did patch for 6 weeks & Welbutrin for 6 months. About to go off Welbutrin & wonder how I’ll be since I still have major cravings for a smoke. But I didn’t notice any real change in mood w/ it.
Well, I should specify Federal funds — Hyde Amendment prevents it except in limited circumstances. NY State should prohibit it too. So maybe I should be a Republican activist anyway. I have these discussions all the time. About one issue voting, but regarding issues of life, no question about it, I am as conservative and as red as they come.
A good chunk of CH is NOT plowed. Cars are stuck/abandoned in the street and would block plows. I heard there is an ambulance stuck on Clinton Street since last night.
I did hear that Hoyt Street had been plowed at least once last night, but not since.
I have an ancient (96) Dodge Caravan and it goes in the snow! The problem is the other drivers. I was glad that I was home by 3:30 yesterday–did the big shopping at Pathmark in Gowanus so we are set.
Later, losers–time to finish shoveling. No elevator here!

Delepp – ah ok – it’s the side streets that are a mess everywhere

g10, yep, times sq may be clean but most side streets are not.
Donatella, NY State Medicaid pays for abortions.
Dona – ok, not in my hood – the guys who own the diner, own the building and live upstairs and the guy that runs my bodega lives around the corner
wait – when did candy cigarettes go away?
bobjohn – oh, I didn’t know the Quattro was 4WD – very cool – but again in this type of snow – most cars and suvs have trouble getting around
