Brownstoner's Top 10 Instagram Picks From Afropunk 2016

It was scorching weather for Brooklyn’s Afropunk Fest this weekend but fashion-forward crowds turned out to the annual celebration of DIY and alternative black culture. Known for its musically and culturally diverse lineups since it first launched in 2005, this year’s festival drew another large crowd, numbering in the thousands, to Commodore Barry Park on the edge of Fort Greene.
