5th Avenue Pizza Place Gets Signage
A tipster sent in this picture of signage going up for the old laundromat space on Berkley and 5th Avenue. We originally thought this place was going to be a by-the-slice pizza joint, but the sign suggests it may be a little more upscale than that. Pizza Joint for 5th Avenue [Brownstoner] GMAP

I totally walked by this place last night. I can attest that this photo is undoctored.
Welcome to the hood. I’m spitting distance from here and excited to have a hopefully good pizza joint nearby. All the others are mediocre.
thats one fancy schmancy laundromat sign.
There is a pizza place in the actual Campo De Fiori that I highly recommend. Go there and not the bar across the street — touristy and pickpocket central.
Campo di Fiori is a plaza in Rome where one can find Forno, maker of the best pizza in the world. No, the universe.

Ok, well here’s the REAL website for this place…

How are so many different businesses allowed to have the same name?

???
interesting. don’t know if this is a common name or a chain of some sort, but there was a place called ‘campo de fiori’ at my college campus (for a brief few months before they closed up shop). they served pastas, salads, sandwiches, but specialized in gourmet roman style pizza. not sure if this is in any way related.
