A homeowner was surprised to receive a summons from the Department of Sanitation over a dirty gutter.
A homeowner was surprised to receive a summons from the Department of Sanitation over a dirty gutter. Rules state that owners are responsible for cleaning sidewalks and gutters adjacent to their property, including 18 inches from the curb into the street. The homeowner is curious to know if others have been ticketed because of this rule. Is it commonly enforced?
