Homeowners got Landmarks approval for the repair of their historic stoop but are wondering if they also need a permit from the Department of Buildings.

Since their house is in a historic district, homeowners got Landmarks approval for their planned stoop repair project. They are now wondering if they also need to get a permit from the Department of Buildings. They suspect they do not, but are looking for advice from others who have gone through the process.
