After finishing the renovation of their historic wood frame, homeowners are contemplating selling off a portion of their air rights and are looking for advice. The developer next door would like to purchase a fraction of their available air rights and have a lawyer ready to prepare a contract. What kind of lawyer should the homeowners have to represent them in the transaction? What other issues should they be aware of before undertaking such an agreement?
