Construction’s already started on the 299-seat Theater for a New Audience in the BAM Cultural District, but its official groundbreaking will take place on Friday. A tipster noticed permits posted in early June for a four-story, 61-foot building, and prep work started at the site in late April. An architect involved with the development says more information and images of the space will be released by the city when the groundbreaking takes place at the end of this week. (At present, the only rendering of the Hugh Hardy design that’s been out there is more than a year old.) Stay tuned for more!
