Brooklyn Open Houses -- Park Slope, Sunset Park, Bed Stuy

Have you heard there’s a chance of snow this weekend? It’s been mentioned in the media once or twice, so you may have caught wind of it. Still, life will go on, and that includes Sunday open houses, even if you may have to bust out the snow boots to get to them.

We’ve got four of them, as usual, ranging from basic to spectacular, and spanning Park Slope, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Sunset Park and Bedford Stuyvesant.

On Douglass Street in Park Slope we’ve got a four-story brick house that’s narrow at around 16 feet, but has been gut renovated with a lot of deluxe touches.

It offers a full-floor master suite, a guest suite with a separate entrance, four full baths and two powder rooms, and a showpiece of a kitchen with an eight-burner Wolf range and one of two Subzero fridges. (The other is in the full wet bar below.)

There’s a pair of decks, banks of double-paned floor-to-ceiling windows to the rear, some radiant floor heating, separately zoned a/c for each room — like we said, deluxe.

Another prime specimen awaits on Lincoln Road in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, though this one is of a different stripe. It’s a landmarked three-story, four-bedroom brownstone loaded with gorgeous restored detail — mantels, pocket doors, inlaid parquet floors, pier mirrors, wedding-cake plaster ornament, wainscoting and carved woodwork.

Another lovely kitchen in this one, with custom cabinetry and a tin ceiling. All told, it’s a beaut.

On 40th Street in Sunset Park we’ve got a two-story semi-detached brick house that’s going to look a little drab after that pair. In fact, it might look a little drab under any circumstances, but it appears to be in good shape.

The house has three exposures, a front porch and around 3,000 square feet of space.

There’s a two-bedroom apartment on each floor. And the home offers “easy access to major highways,” according to the listing.

Last up, a barrel-fronted brick number on Dewey Place in Bed Stuy. It’s a flip, and not the most enthralling one we’ve seen (nor is this Bed Stuy’s most alluring block).

But it’s fully redone, with a three-bedroom duplex above and a two-bedroom garden rental. There’s also a two-bedroom “hospitality basement space for additional living,” which includes a kitchen. Not that you would ever (wink, wink) think of putting a tenant or an Airbnb’er down there.
