Our Open House Picks from six months ago were all modestly priced for their areas. Spanning Bay Ridge, Bed Stuy and Midwood, they top out at $1.35 million and two come in under the million-dollar mark.

Six months later and all are off the market with three sold, two of which went for over ask.

The priciest one, not shockingly, is also the nicest. On Bay Ridge Parkway in Bay Ridge, it’s a one-family limestone with a grand parlor floor and some original details. Upstairs are three bedrooms; downstairs on the garden level is a legal doctor’s office — one of a number of such offices on the block.

The home sold for $1.3 million in February, $25,00 under its $1.325 million ask.

On Madison Street in Bed Stuy is a two-family brownstone, set up as a lower duplex and a top-floor rental. Some nice original details in this one, including fireplaces, pocket doors and parquet floors, and it’ll clean up nicely, but it needs some work, including some rejiggering of the layout.

The property went for $1.4 million in February, $150,000 over its $1.25 million ask.

Then we’re back to Bay Ridge for a Tudor-style number on Madeline Court. It’s a modest home of unassuming proportions in seemingly good condition, with three bedrooms above, a finished basement below and a driveway and one-car garage in the back, accessible from 68th Street.

The home sold for $890,000 in February, $10,000 over its $880,000 ask.

Last up is a freestanding brick home on East 29th Street in Midwood. This one also has two stories, a finished basement, a driveway and a garage, but it’s significantly larger. It looks to be in good shape, though unless you’re an old-world grandmother you’re going to want a cosmetic overhaul, from the wall-to-wall carpets and the wallpaper to the wood paneling. Though we might vote for keeping the original Art Deco purple-tiled bathroom.

The property had its $875,000 ask cut by $26,000 to $849,000 before being taken off the market in March.
