Liquor Store, Cafe Coming to Sunnyside

We spotted a notice up at 4126 Greenpoint Avenue, between 41st and 42nd Streets, for a package store. The owners are currently trying to secure a liquor license from the State Liquor Authority under the name “Blue Z Liquor.” Meanwhile, a few blocks away at 41-31 Queens Boulevard (formerly Laven Pharmacy), Sunnyside Post reports that a cafe is now under construction. The owners hope to open in about three months, and do not have a name for the spot yet. GMAP
