We found this rendering for a seven-story apartment building tacked to the construction fence at 516 Classon Avenue between Fulton and Putnam, on the border between Clinton Hill and Bed-Stuy. New building applications show there will be 18 units in the building, which is zoned forĀ 15,998 square feet of residential space. A peek inside the construction site revealed only massive mounds of dirt, indicating that workers are excavating the basement. However, there was also a partial stop-work order for excavation (pictured after the jump) issued September 23. Since it hasn’t shown up on the DOB website yet, we have no idea if it’s been resolved. The empty lot last sold to an LLC in 2012 for $349,000, according to PropertyShark. Work is supposed to wrap in 2014.Ā GMAP

  1. the thing is that prices will go up too much if there will be any more limitation, it is already in the edge of starting to be to expansive to build.
and if there will be less apartment on the market, prices will go up even more … it is not a good thing at all
