All but one of our Open House Picks from six months ago have been scooped off the market, three of them within a one-month span last fall, despite their varying conditions .
The neo-traditional and utterly tricked-out Degraw Street home went into contract back in October, but is still waiting to close. Tough nuts for moneyed house-hunters in search of similarly extensive amenities, from built-in wine fridge to radiant floor heating and a wireless, multi-zoned surround-sound system, all for the equally luxurious price of $4.999 million as of last listing.
A rather beaten-down Park Slope property offers original detail and space, but desperately calls for an upgrade. It was removed from the market in September, and is now listed at Compass for $2.425 million, $570,000 less than its previous ask.
In Crown Heights, a renovated three-bedroom duplex has all-new everything, but still garnered only $1.62 million — $75,000 under its $1.695 million ask.
Lastly, the recently renovated Bedford Stuyvesant brick two-family did the best of the bunch relative to its ask, heralding $10,000 more than its $1.149 million listing price.

Just realized it’s a brand new construction townhouse, I guess that’s why the price is so high.
Wow 453 Degraw is really expensive for the location, and it’s in contract. Stunning though
Pretty sure 117 Albany was scooped up by the co-housing startup Common. They’re now listing rooms *starting* at $1500/mo: http://www.hicommon.com/albany/
“Tough nuts”
LOL never heard that one before.
