You can always count on North Brooklyn for some eyebrow-raising rental prices. The one-bed, one-bath at newish building 145 Jackson Street is asking $5,500 a month. It’s listed in Greenpoint but this is definitely Williamsburg territory. As is common in these types of builds, there are big windows, shiny finishes and a mezzanine space. And there’s no shortage of square footage: Although it looks like there’s only one formal bedroom, it’s a duplex apartment that fits two queen beds. The listing says it can fit up to five people, but that may be stretching it. The balcony also looks spacious. So, is it worth all that dough?
