Carroll Gardens
Carroll Gardens is getting a brewery! Other Half Brewing leased the warehouse at 195 Centre Street. It’s slated to begin production in December 2012. Elsewhere in Carroll Gardens, a new pizzeria is about to open at 311 Smith Street.

Williamsburg/Bushwick
San Francisco’s favorite sausage grill Rosamunde opens tomorrow at 285 Bedford Avenue. Gothamist says there will be “20 different kinds of sausage, char grilled and served with choice of two toppings on a French roll or as a sausage plate with German baked beans and green salad.” Grubstreet posts the menu for 983, the cafe that just replaced the old Life Cafe in Bushwick. And FREEWilliamsburg reports that Burg restaurant Calyer is getting a new menu and chef.

Park Slope
The wine bar Terrior is supposed to open this week, according to Park Slope Stoop. And the Park Slope library branch finally has an opening date: Thursday, September 13th. Here’s Park Slope reports that no-frills coffee shop Kahawa Cafe is open on 5th Avenue and Thai restaurant Pinto Express is open on 7th Avenue.

Elsewhere
Papa & Sons closes down in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. The owners of the Gowanus shuffleboard club scale back their plans after neighborhood resistance. And down in Coney Island, McCullough’s Kiddie Park is closing after 50 years in business. The owners could not negotiate a new lease with Thor Equities.
