Construction Accident at Domsey's Building on Wythe

A reader sent in this photo of a construction screwup at Wythe Avenue and South 9th in Williamsburg. This is the old Domsey’s Warehouse, bordered by Wythe, Kent, South 9th and South 11th. This July work started up at the site and the DOB approved permits for a partial demo. Our tipster thinks the damage came from an attempt to demolish the top floor while leaving the first floor intact, but this NBC report makes it seem like demolition had not started yet.
