29 Grace Court marks another big sale for the Heights — the sale just hit public records for $5.25 million. The home (now configured as a five family) was set up as a owner’s duplex with a ground floor studio, two floor-through apartments, and enough pink paint to go around. Back in September 2010, when it was HOTD, it was asking $6,200,000. Curbed noted in January 2011 that the price dropped to $5.95 million. Interestingly enough, this home was featured in a New York Times article about high-end inventory in Brooklyn Heights along with 281 Henry Street, which just sold for $5 million. So does anybody know if the buyer plans to convert this place back into a sweet single-family mansion?

  1. No surprise it sold. There are literally only 5 houses for sale right now in all of Brooklyn heights. And another 5 carved up into multiple units that would need extensive renovation or under construction. If you want the heights and want the house, that’s it. Plenty of multimillion condos though.

  2. Knowing the buyers and seeing the price they paid, I think it’s safe to say they’ll be converting to 1-family (or I suppose 2 to preserve flexibility).
